One of our favorite weekend getaways in the winter season is going up to the mountains. Getting the family together, renting a cabin and escaping for the weekend!
The weekend in the mountains brings so many opportunities for different activities. Whether you like to participate in winter sports like snowboarding and skiing or just lounging around by the fireplace, watching movies and reading a good book. There is something for everyone!
Depending on how you like to spend your time while away in the mountains for the weekend, will determine your packing list! We have put together a few outfits to inspire your next trip with options for every activity.
This first outfit is perfect for staying in and staying warm. Classic black leggings (with pockets!) paired with this neutral brown sweater, scrunchy socks, and cozy slippers. Now this is comfort!

This outfit is perfect for going out on a leisurely walk around town. Possibly grabbing lunch or dinner at a cute local spot all while staying both warm and comfortable. Leggings, paired with a brown sweatshirt and nude coat, then accessorized with gloves and a beanie. Additional cold weather essentials you do not want to forget when out and about are hand warmers (the cutest!) and chapstick!

If staying in is not your speed, this next outfit is for you. This is the perfect fit for hitting the slopes, but it can also be great for going on an outdoor hike, or going tubing with the family.
You are guaranteed to stay warm with the snow pants, puffer jacket, and boots! You can mix and match accessories that you need like a beanie, gloves and a sporty handbag. If you are hitting the slopes take this outfit one step further by adding goggles to protect your eyes.

These are just a few outfits we threw together to inspire you for your next trip to the mountains. With our trip right around the corner you will definitely catch us rocking some of these items, we are all about being comfy and cozy, especially for a weekend getaway.
Safe travels and stay warm!
