Las Vegas, Nevada is known to be the city that never sleeps or also known as Sin City. It is a highly popular vacation spot for party lovers and a classic bachelor/bachelorette party destination. While all of this is true Vegas can also be a great spot for a low key or family vacation.
We recently visited Vegas this March and in all the chaos that is Vegas, we actually managed to have a very mellow trip.
We stayed at the Paris hotel, which is located in what we consider to be the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. We had stopped by this hotel many times in the past, whether it was just for a few moments as we walked the strip or to eat at one of the restaurants.

Although we had been to this hotel before, it was our first time actually staying here. Overall we would rate the Paris hotel a 3 out of 5. If you are looking for a place to stay for your next trip and are considering the Paris hotel this list of our pros and cons might help you make your decision!
Pros:
- Location on the Strip
- Restaurants
- Hotel ambiance
Cons:
- Hotel room
Location on the Strip: We really do consider the location to be in the heart of the Strip! It is right across the way from the Bellagio, so if you are lucky enough to get a room facing the street you will have an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio fountain show! You are also walking distance to so many other hotels/casinos, restaurants and shopping malls.
Restaurants: We have visited restaurants at this hotel multiple times, and we are definitely a huge fan. One of the best things about Vegas is that there is amazing food! For the foodies like us that is one of our favorite things about vacationing in Las Vegas. The Paris Hotel is home to restaurants like: Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse, Vanderpump Paris, The Bedford, and of course the iconic Eiffel Tower Restaurant. Hotel Ambiance: One of the most amazing things about Vegas is the atmosphere, everything is bigger, better with flashy lights, and music. They truly transport you to a place where anything feels possible! The Paris Hotel has amazing details that really create an ambiance to remember. The Arc de Triomphe when you pull into the front of the hotel, the Eiffel Tower, and the inside of the casino and shops looking like the streets of Paris. All of these aspects create an amazing visual experience for all hotel guests whether you are staying there or just stopping by while walking the strip.
Hotel Room: Sadly the thing we were least impressed with during our stay was our hotel room. The decor was cute and on theme for the hotel however it all seemed a bit run down and dated. The floor seemed dirty and the pillows were small and very heavily used. The price of the room was very comparable to nearby hotels so honestly we could have stayed somewhere else for a similar price and would have had a better room experience.
Some additional notes:
- It was a little too cold for the pool this March so we did not get to experience that during our stay.
- There are a few great breakfast/brunch spots we did not mention that are also located at the Paris: Alexxa’s and Mon Amie Gabi
- Additional restaurants not mentioned previously: NOBU and Beer Park
- We haven’t been to the NOBU in the Paris, but we did eat at the one located in Caesar’s. It was an amazing dining experience but definitely very pricey! $$$$
We had a really great trip overall, we weren’t going to let the state of our room stop us from having a good time. There was so many more aspects about our stay that we were able to enjoy and that’s what we did!
If you have been planning your next trip to Vegas and have been considering staying at the Paris Hotel we hope this mini travel blog helps you solidify your travel plans.
Safe travels! & Viva Las Vegas!
